US Orders Embassy Staff to Leave Saudi Arabia

Washington has issued a directive for all US embassy staff and their families to evacuate Saudi Arabia, according to a diplomatic source speaking on Wednesday. This decision follows a series of sustained attacks on the kingdom by Yemen’s Houthis.

The source confirmed that American personnel and their families must depart the embassy in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the order extends to the families of embassy staff stationed in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Qatar, and Bahrain.
