UAE Extends Condolences After Saudi Helicopter Crash Kills Two

The United Arab Emirates has officially expressed its solidarity and condolences to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following the deaths of two officers. The personnel were killed during the crash of a reconnaissance helicopter assigned to the Saudi Ministry of National Guard in the Najran region.

Major General Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, confirmed that the AH-6i aircraft went down in an area under the jurisdiction of the National Guard. According to official reports, a technical malfunction was identified as the cause of the fatal incident.

In a separate statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its deep sympathy to the families of the deceased officers, as well as to the government and people of Saudi Arabia, following the tragic event.
