NCM Forecasts Five Days of Continuous Rainfall Across Regions

The National Centre of Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that rainfall will continue across the country’s northern, eastern, and southern regions for the next five days. Wednesday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with morning humidity in some coastal and inland areas, potentially leading to fog or mist. Convective cloud development is likely in the north, east, and south, resulting in rainfall.
Winds will vary from southeasterly to northwesterly, maintaining a light to moderate pace but occasionally becoming fresh to strong, especially near clouds, which may raise dust. Wind speeds are expected to range from 10 to 25 km/h, with peaks reaching up to 50 km/h. Maritime conditions are predicted to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Looking toward Thursday, the weather will remain fair to partly cloudy with a recurrence of morning humidity and potential fog or mist. Convective clouds could form over northern and eastern regions, extending into some inland areas and bringing rain. Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, ranging from 10 to 25 km/h with gusts up to 50 km/h. Sea conditions will stay slight.
Friday’s outlook calls for fair to partly cloudy skies with morning humidity and a chance of light fog. Eastward convective cloud formation may lead to rain. Winds will follow a southeasterly to northeasterly pattern, ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, though they may freshen to 40 km/h near clouds, causing dust. Seas are expected to be calm.
On Saturday and Sunday, the pattern continues with fair to partly cloudy conditions, morning humidity, and potential light fog in coastal and inland areas. During the afternoons, convective clouds are expected in the east, triggering rain. Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, peaking at 40 km/h near clouds. Seas in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are forecasted to remain calm throughout both days.
