Meghan Markle Severs Ties with Father Over Abuse Claims

The Duchess of Sussex has formally ended contact with her father, Thomas Markle, informing him in a 2025 letter that she and law enforcement are aware of allegations regarding his involvement with minors. Sources close to the Duchess confirmed that the correspondence served to clarify that Markle, 82, would never be permitted to meet his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, and that she would not initiate future contact.
