Folk music legend Linda Perhacs was reported missing “eight months” after she was released from a residential care facility.

On Monday, the “Dolphin” singer’s friend Mark McNeill took to Instagram to ask the public for help finding Perhacs.

“Linda Perhacs our dear friend and legendary singer-songwriter was discharged from a residential care facility approximately eight months ago under the supervision of her legal guardian,” he captioned the post.

“Since then, friends and longtime collaborators have been unable to reach her and repeated attempts to contact her guardian have reportedly gone unanswered,” McNeill claimed.

The online radio station co-founder concluded his post by asking his followers to reach out to Laurel Stearns via email at lstearns@primarywave.com if they have “verified information regarding Linda’s whereabouts or current means of contact.”

“Please help us locate Linda to ensure her wellbeing,” he wrote.

McNeill jointly shared the post with Stearns, who was Perhacs’ former manager, Jessica Hundley, who directed the music video for Perhacs’ song “Prisms of Glass,” and musician Julia Holter.

In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Stearns said “concern is growing” among Perhacs’ close friends, collaborators and the music community regarding the acclaimed musician’s whereabouts.

Stearns told the outlet that “numerous friends and longtime collaborators report they have been unable to establish direct contact” with Perhacs since she was discharged from the Los Angeles-area care facility.

“Repeated attempts to communicate with her guardian have also, they say, gone unanswered,” she said.

Page Six has reached out to Stearns but did not immediately hear back.

Perhacs is best known for her debut album, “Parallelograms,” which was released in 1970 when she was a dental hygienist.

The project did not receive much publicity and had low sales. However, nearly three decades later, the album was rediscovered by record enthusiasts and reissued numerous times due to the growing popularity of the New Weird America movement and the internet.

Perhacs released her comeback album, “The Soul of All Natural Things,” in 2014, and her third studio album, “I’m a Harmony,” three years later.
